Anchor Points
Liftsafe offers a range of anchor point systems to help you and your workers meet the needs of different industries and working environments. All of our anchor point systems are OSHA compliant and offer a cost-effective fall protection solution for your facility. Liftsafe offers three categories of anchor point systems including: vacuum, portable and fixed anchor point systems.
Our process doesn’t stop at installation. Our team is here to offer repairs, inspections and pull testing on your anchor point system to ensure it remains safety compliant. All inspections and reports can be accessed through our Liftsafe Customer Portal.
To ensure your anchor points are up to date with current safety regulations, our licensed team of engineers are here to conduct inspections and maintenance annually. Our inspection services include, but are not limited to:
- A review of the design drawings to ensure compliance with current regulations standards and engineering standards.
- An inspection of the system to ensure compliance with the engineered drawings.
- An inspection of all exposed, visible and accessible components of the system for signs of deformity.
Canada Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, SOR/86-304, Sections 12.01 to 12.09
12.07 (1) Subject to subsection (2), an employer must provide or put in place a fall-protection system if work is to be performed
(a) from a structure or on a vehicle at a height of 3 m or more;
(b) from a ladder at a height of 3 m or more if, because of the nature of the work, the person performing it is unable to use at least one hand to hold onto the ladder; or
(c) at a height of less than 3 m if the surface onto which the person might fall would present a greater risk of injury than a solid, flat surface.

Custom Long Span Lifeline at a Hydro Dam
Among our many lifeline projects was a long span lifeline for a hydro dam. Due to the potential for large debris (trees, ice jams) during high-water events, no intermediate cable supports could be utilized.
