Engine Access Stand (DF071554-07-10)
This Aircraft Maintenance and Engine Access Stand is specifically engineered for the A350 and B777 platforms. To enhance technician comfort and stability during use, the stand features anti-fatigue ladder steps rather than narrow ladder rungs — ideal for performing LRU changes, component adjustments, and engine or nacelle connect/disconnect tasks. Updates to the design include a lighter overall structure, a smaller footprint, and improved geometry for optimal usability in maintenance environments.
The stand provides both height and angle adjustments, supporting the diverse elevation and clearance requirements commonly encountered during aircraft servicing. Constructed primarily from aluminum for mobility, the stand also features a corrosion-resistant powder-coat finish for long-term durability.
This access solution enables safe and efficient servicing of nose cowls, fan cowls, and pylon disconnect zones on Pratt & Whitney, GE Aviation, and Rolls-Royce engines, improving safety and access to traditionally challenging under-cowling work areas. It also supports safe access to forward and aft pylon service points, refuel panels, and under-wing maintenance zones.
For enhanced safety and mobility, optional accessories are available, including four corner-levelling jacks, fold-away tow bars, and lift-truck fork pockets. The Aircraft Maintenance and Engine Access Stand is designed and tested in accordance with ANSI-ASC A14.7 and BS EN 131.7, and includes CE Certification.
