Engine Access Stand (DF071554-07-12)
This Engine Access Stand is specifically designed for the B777-9. As with all Liftsafe stands, it features anti-fatigue ladder steps rather than narrow rungs, ensuring comfort when changing LRUs, adjusting components, or connecting/disconnecting engines and nacelles. The stand also provides access to the GE90-powered 777 Legacy PDOS (Powered Door Opening System). Design improvements include a lighter structure, smaller footprint, and optimized geometry for enhanced functionality.
Height and angle adjustments allow the B777-9 Engine Access Stand to accommodate the varied positions frequently required during aircraft servicing. The stand features aluminum construction for easy movement and a corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish for durability.
The B777-9 Engine Access Stand provides safe access to nose cowls, fan cowls, and pylon disconnect zones on Pratt & Whitney, GE Aviation, and Rolls-Royce engines, enabling maintenance in traditionally difficult under-cowling areas. It also supports access to forward and aft pylon service points, refuel panels, and under-wing zones.
For increased safety and mobility, optional accessories include four corner-leveling jacks, fold-away tow bars, and lift-truck fork pockets. The B777-9 Engine Access Stand is designed and tested in accordance with ANSI-ASC A14.7 and BS EN 131.7, and includes CE Certification.
