Flatbed Truck Netting Systems
Falls off of flatbed trucks during loading and unloading operations are on the rise, with a lack of fall protection safety knowledge and equipment within the industry being a major contributing factor. That’s why we’ve developed only the best solutions for protecting your employees while working on flatbed trucks.
Our Truck Netting Systems (Flatbed Safety Solutions) attach to flatbeds that come in and out of your facility to ensure that your employees and third party drivers have the necessary fall protection to prevent serious injuries. Our systems create a “soft catch” barrier to safeguard workers while they load and unload products and are designed to mount directly to your facility’s floor or wall. Our seven modular flatbed solutions are built to fit the specific layout of your facility and reduce the risk of falls from flatbeds. These solutions are designed to minimize fall protection problems as well as the need for further training or personal protective equipment (PPE).
All of our standard systems can be adjusted depending on the size, weight and load requirements of your facility and customized to fit your equipment needs. We work with our in-house professional engineers and fall prevention experts to construct a system that ensures the safety of your workers. The best safety system for your facility can be determined by our experienced netting specialists. We will review your facility layout and application requirements to recommend the best solution.
Our netting panels are treated to meet NFPA 701 standards for fire-retardancy and have been tested and rated in accordance with ANSI A10.11 and OSHA safety standards. This includes the complete system with all of the hardware installed onto a racking system and tests made to simulate a real-case product falls.
To ensure compliance with regulations, we advise following safety net installation standards. This includes obtaining certification from qualified installers or engineers, conducting testing procedures, maintaining thorough records, and providing worker training.
A comprehensive fall protection plan must consider work nature, site or facility conditions, load capacity, and manufacturer specifications. Proper installation, maintenance, and regular inspection are critical for compliance and effectiveness.
Accumulated debris can compromise the functionality of safety nets and create hazards. Work operations should pause promptly to remove debris or any fallen objects to maintain optimal net performance.

Our Portable Truck Netting Systems are designed to be used on areas where companies do not want to pour footings or permanently secure posts in place. Originally developed for outdoor use as a “tarping” or “load securement” station, these systems can be placed anywhere that there is a flat, level surface.
Column Mounted Flatbed Truck Netting Systems
We have designed versatile column mounted systems that are an ideal safety solution for facilities with multiple use bays or areas with limited space. Depending on the orientation of the column, our mounting brackets will surround the existing facility column for optimal support.
Wall Mounted Flatbed Truck Netting Systems
The Wall Mounted Truck Netting System, also known as our “Fill in the Gap System”, protects small gaps between the shop floor and trailer bed in recessed bay applications where a post and net system is not suitable.
Free Standing Flatbed Truck Netting Systems
Free Standing Truck Netting Systems are designed to eliminate fall protection concerns, while maximizing space. Our Free Standing Truck Netting Systems are ideal for facilities that have multiple use bays, or where customers do not want to connect directly to the flatbed with our pivoting options.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if space is an issue in my facility?
For storage racks, we offer different lengths of offset brackets to allow our systems to fit in the tightest of spaces. Our extension brackets are also available from 1 ft up to 6 ft in height to add additional storage space to the top of racks.
Is there an advantage to netting over wire mesh?
Our netting is designed to catch any fallen product or pallet without any damage to your racking. Wire mesh is typically connected directly to your racks and doesn’t have flexibility. Over time, as equipment or products hit against the wire, it can get damaged and put extra strain on your racking.
Is this something I could install on my own?
Yes, all of our systems include a user manual, custom drawing, and detailed installation instructions. If needed, we offer installation services.
When would I need a safety netting system?
Netting is used anytime a fall or falling object hazard may exist. It is used on racks to protect against falling objects, as well as along walkways and isles to protect workers. These systems are often used in the flu space between racks to protect the product itself from falling and being damaged. Safety netting has numerous applications depending on the facility, including barrier protection from stacked storage, upper-level mezzanine protection, and even truck netting fall protection. There are applications in every corner of your facility.
What do I need to provide to get a quote?
Get in touch with our netting sales reps, and they can provide you with a Quote Request Form that is easy to fill out. The form asks for information such as the width of your bays, the height of your rack frames, and the weight of the pallets you are looking to protect.
Can the netting system be customized?
Yes, our netting systems are highly customizable to fit your specific dimensions and applications of your facility space. Liftsafe has an in-house engineering team that consults with clients to develop customized systems.
What material is the netting made of, and is it durable?
Our netting is typically made of high-strength polyethylene or nylon material, ensuring durability and longevity. It’s designed to withstand object impact and provide reliable fall protection depending on the application. Our nets range in weight capacity depending on your application needs.
Is the netting compliant with safety regulations and standards?
Our netting panels are treated to meet NFPA 701 standards for fire-retardancy and have been tested and rated in accordance with ANSI A10.11 and OSHA safety standards. This includes the complete system with all of the hardware installed onto a racking system and tests made to simulate a real-case product falls.
What maintenance is required for the netting system?
What size of net should I order?
Our team provides safety nets in the exact sizes you need. Our clients will be required to measure from one anchorage point to the next.
