Engine Access Stand (DF071554-07-08)
This Aircraft Maintenance Stand is engineered to support both under-cowling and over-cowling access for the B787 and B767 platforms. As with all Liftsafe equipment, the stand incorporates anti-fatigue ladder steps rather than narrow ladder rungs, ensuring technician comfort during tasks such as LRU changes, component adjustments, and engine or nacelle connect/disconnect procedures. The design offers improved functionality through a lighter structure, smaller footprint, and optimized geometry, and is currently in use across multiple operators, MROs, and aircraft manufacturers.
The stand enables safe access to nose cowls, fan cowls, and pylon disconnect zones on Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, and GE Aviation engines, providing a secure solution for traditionally challenging under-cowling maintenance areas. It also permits safe and effective access to forward and aft pylon service points, refuel panels, and under-wing service locations. Hydraulic pitch and height adjustments support the varying angles and elevation requirements commonly encountered in aircraft maintenance environments.
Constructed with extensive aluminum components for ease of maneuverability, the unit also features a corrosion-resistant powder-coat finish for long-term durability. Optional safety and mobility accessories include four corner-leveling jacks, fold-away tow bars, and lift-truck fork pockets.
The Aircraft Maintenance Stand is engineered and tested in accordance with ANSI-ASC A14.7 and BS EN 131.7 standards and includes CE Certification.
