Engine Access Stand (DF071554-06)
This Aircraft Maintenance and Engine Access Stand features an adjustable scissor-lift base, providing the height needed to access outboard engines on the A380, B747, A340 series, A400, and similar aircraft. As with all our stands, it uses anti-fatigue ladder steps instead of narrow rungs, ensuring comfort when changing LRUs, adjusting components, or connecting/disconnecting engines and nacelles.
Key functionality includes access to outboard engines and pylons (A380, A340, B747-8), as well as avionics and aft-fuselage areas. Currently in use with multiple operators, MROs, and aircraft manufacturers, this stand also supports all Boeing wide-body platforms, the B757, Airbus wide-body aircraft, and the A320 family.
The stand provides safe access to nose cowls, fan cowls, and pylon disconnect zones on Pratt & Whitney, GE, and Rolls-Royce engines, supporting maintenance in traditionally difficult under-cowling areas. It also enables safe access to forward and aft pylon service points, refuel panels, and under-wing areas. Hydraulic pitch and height adjustment allow for the variable angles and heights frequently required during service. Constructed with extensive aluminum components for easy maneuverability, the unit also features a corrosion-resistant powder-coat finish for durability.
For added safety and mobility, the stand comes equipped with four corner-leveling jacks, fold-away tow bars, and lift-truck fork pockets. It is designed and tested in accordance with ANSI-ASC A14.7 and BS EN 131.7, and includes CE Certification
