SOLUTION
We delivered RoofGuard Classic edge protection systems for a large solar panel installation in Barrie, Ontario, providing safe and compliant rooftop access for maintenance personnel.
We worked with one of our dealers to supply and install a durable, reliable RoofGuard Classic guardrail system across the majority of the facility’s rooftop. This freestanding, counterweighted system provides continuous edge protection while maintaining the roof membrane’s integrity, eliminating the need for roof penetrations and minimizing the risk of leaks.
The system allows personnel to safely perform regular solar panel maintenance without the need for additional PPE or specialized working at heights training. RoofGuard Classic meets or exceeds all federal and provincial working at heights requirements, as well as ANSI and OSHA standards.
