SOLUTION
We delivered a RoofGuard Classic edge protection system for a large manufacturing facility in Guelph, Ontario, providing safe and compliant rooftop access for personnel maintaining solar panels.
We worked with one of our dealers to supply and install a custom RoofGuard Classic Guardrail System designed for frequent rooftop access. The system’s counterweighted, non-penetrating baseplate design protects the roof membrane from leaks while ensuring continuous fall protection around the roof perimeter.
The passive fall protection system allows employees to safely perform solar panel maintenance without the need for extra PPE or specialized working at heights training. The solution meets or exceeds federal and provincial working at heights requirements, as well as ANSI and OSHA safety standards.
