SOLUTION
We delivered a comprehensive RoofGuard Classic edge and hazard protection system for a large agricultural manufacturing facility in Guelph, Ontario. The project included both supply and installation of our freestanding guardrail system to provide safe, compliant access across the rooftop.
We worked with one of our dealers to engineer a counterweighted RoofGuard Classic system tailored to the facility’s unique rooftop configuration. This passive fall protection solution allowed employees to perform routine rooftop tasks without requiring additional training or PPE, ensuring compliance with working at heights legislation.
The non-penetrating, freestanding design preserves the integrity of the roof membrane, eliminating the risk of leaks while providing continuous edge and hazard protection. The system meets or exceeds all federal, provincial, ANSI, and OSHA requirements, delivering a long-term, durable safety solution.
