Home Roofing LLC of Marietta has now been cited for the sixth time for exposing workers to fall hazards. OSHA has reported that these repeated penalties equal $101,121 in safety violations.
The companies most recent violation took place in Warminster, PA. At this inspection site, the contractor failed to provide adequate fall protection while its employees worked about 18-feet above a lower level.
Jean Kulp, director of OSHA’s Allentown Area office stated: “fall protection is a basic yet critical employer-provided safeguard that protects workers from being injured or killed on the job, especially in the construction industry where falls are a leading cause of death”.
